Jessie Package Support
For the project Jessie Package Support, I used 10 hours in the following tasks:
- ibus
ibus
- Apply patches and fix build error.
- Diagnose error running network tests.
- Hang occurs during tests only with 2nd patch.
- Debug with strace/gdb and send results to mailing list.
- Attempt to git bisect fix for error.
- git bisect fix for error.
- Fix commit is 7cba800a84730c9c5843acdd775e42b8c1438edf.
- Rebuild debian package with fix.
- Attempt to debug new error running tests.
- assertion ‘G_IS_OBJECT (object)’ failed.
- Rerun gdb after compiling with -O0 instead of -O2.
- Produce new stack trace.
- Post email to debian-lts.
- assertion ‘G_IS_OBJECT (object)’ failed.
